We extend a warm welcome to guests on our adventures. Our club organizes day trips, with travel by coach each Friday, to explore the trails and natural landscapes of our foothills and mountain parks. Our year-round activities offer something for everyone, including hiking, snowshoeing, and cross-country skiing, with options tailored to a range of fitness levels.

Join us on a Skrastins Friday trip as a guest, the first step to becoming a Skrastins Outdoor Club member.

Register for a Skrastins Trip

  • Review the trip details and group options on our club homepage.
  • First-time guests need to Create a Skrastins Profile.
  • Once you have a Skrastins profile, click “Join The Trip Waitlist”, to login and register for the trip when registration is open: 6 PM Friday to 4 PM Wednesday.

What You Need to Know

  • Bus fare: $25 per trip, plus $10 for trips into a National Park (unless you have a Park Pass).
  • Seat availability for guests varies from week to week.
  • After member registration closes:
    • Available seats are filled from the guest waitlist on a first come, first served basis.
    • Once assigned, guests are automatically confirmed on the bus.
  • Important:
    • If your name is on the waitlist at 4 PM on Wednesday and a seat is available, you will be automatically assigned a seat and responsible for the $25.00 bus fee.
    • If you're unsure about your availability for the Friday trip, we encourage you to deregister before 4 PM on Wednesday to avoid an unwanted seat and the $25.00 late cancel fee, plus any other extra costs for special trips.

Choosing a Group

  • Guests on their first trip with Skrastins will join the "B2" or "C" Group, unless a current Skrastins member can confirm their ability at a higher level.
  • Returning guests are encouraged to join the group that best suits their current abilities.
