Welcome to Skrastins Outdoor Club

Skrastins provides hiking, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and winter walking activities in the foothills and mountains west of Calgary most Fridays of the year. Bus transportation is provided, with pickup locations in the southwest and northwest. We divide into groups to accommodate different levels of fitness and speed.  We welcome new members who are aged 55+ .

  • B1 Fast - Twin Lakes Trail to Arnica Summit: Approximately 11.6 km, Elev. 700m
  • B1 Slow - Twin Lakes Trail to Arnica Summit: Approximately 11.6 km, Elev. 700m
  • B2 Fast - Arnica Lake and return: Approximately 10km, Elev. 550m
  • B2 Slow - Arnica Lake and return: Approximately 10km, Elev. 550m
  • C - Boom Lake Trail and return: Approximately 10km, Elev. 175m
